SANFI Diagnostics was founded to give people in Dublin fast, unhurried access to high-quality diagnostic ultrasound, without the delays of a hospital waiting list.
Every scan performed and reported by accredited clinicians, in one appointment.
A diagnostic scan is rarely a routine event for the person having it. People come to us worried, often after weeks of waiting, and frequently without a clear explanation of what is going to happen. We designed the clinic around that reality.
Appointments are scheduled with enough time that nobody is rushed off the couch. The person performing your scan is qualified to interpret it, so you are not left guessing while a report is written somewhere else. And the price you are quoted covers the scan and the consultant report together. There is no second invoice.
Every examination is performed by an accredited sonographer or a consultant radiologist, and every study is reported by a consultant radiologist. Where a finding needs urgent attention, we contact you and your GP the same day rather than letting it sit in a postal queue.
The clinic operates modern high-resolution ultrasound systems with colour and spectral Doppler, high-frequency linear probes for musculoskeletal and small-parts work, and transvaginal probes for early pregnancy and gynaecological assessment. We are a diagnostic service, not a replacement for your own doctor. With your consent, your report goes to your GP so that your care stays joined up. GPs and consultants can read more about our referral pathway on the healthcare professionals page.

Leads the clinical service at SANFI Diagnostics with a specialist interest in abdominal and vascular imaging, and is responsible for reporting standards across the clinic.
Lead Sonographer
BSc (Hons) Diagnostic Imaging, PgDip Medical Ultrasound
Accredited in general and obstetric ultrasound, with particular experience in early pregnancy assessment and musculoskeletal imaging.
Sonographer
BSc Radiography, MSc Medical Ultrasound
Provides the general ultrasound list including abdominal, renal, thyroid and soft tissue examinations.

The website and its database are hosted within the European Union, so your details never leave the EEA.
The site is served over HTTPS, and the personal details you send through the enquiry form are encrypted in the database.
No analytics and no third-party fonts. The Meta advertising pixel loads only if you accept it, and the map on our contact page only contacts Google after you click it.
Website enquiries are retained under the clinic retention schedule and then deleted. See the patient data notice.
Your report is released to you, and to your GP only where you have agreed to it.
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask for corrections, or ask us to erase it. Contact details are in the privacy policy.
